EPA Finalizes NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule

The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Electronic Reporting Rule was finalized on 24-SEP-2015.

As anticipated, Sewage Sludge/Biosolids Annual Program Reports in which EPA implements the Federal Biosolids Program are included in the Phase 1 activities.
Phase 1 submission is required one year after the effective date of the final rule.  For Phase 2, “EPA and authorized state NPDES programs have five years to begin electronically
collecting, managing, and sharing the remaining set of NPDES program information . . . This information includes Sewage Sludge/Biosolids Annual Program Reports [40 CFR 503] (for the 8 states that implement the Federal Biosolids Program).”
