USDA Forest Service research finds positive results from biosolids fertilizer

The time-of-flight (TOF) acoustic wave method employed by USDA Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory, finds biosolids fertilization treatment “had a statistically significant effect on acoustic velocities measured in standing trees, stems, and butt logs.”
