GE set to expand its biogas capabilities

In an effort to strengthen its commitment to energy reduction and aim to build energy-neutral water resource recovery facilities while at the same time reinforce its position as a leader in the field, GE Water & Process Technologies is set to acquire Monsal.  Monsal, a UK-based company, is a leader in anaerobic digestion technology and integrated biogas to energy systems with over 220 AD systems to date.

Expansion of the product and technology range gained as a result of this acquisition, led Aidan Cumiskey, Monsal Managing Director, to note that with GE they are positioning themselves to “become the ‘go-to’ company globally for anaerobic digestion.”
