WEF Releases Introduction to Funding Factsheet

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) Residuals and Biosolids Committee, Bioenergy Technology Subcommittee and Carbon Resource and Recovery Subcommittee has released “Introduction to Funding: Bioenergy and GHG Reducing Projects.”  This Fact Sheet provides the various funding programs and mechanisms that can ease or alleviate the financial burden incurred with the installation of technologies to generate bioenergy and reduce GHG emissions.  Included in the document are a review of options such as low interest loans, partial funding via grants, revenue generation, partnerships with developers and more.
