Continued Platinum Certification for Synagro’s South Kern Facility

Congratulations to the Synagro South Kern Compost Manufacturing Facility on continued National Biosolids Partnership, Biosolids Management Program (BMP) Platinum Certification.

On 17-JUN-2016, DEKRA released a final report recommending continued BMP platinum certification for the facility, noting the strength of the facility biosolids management program in external communications from SKCMF personnel, including response to requests and proactive participation in community events, demonstrating Synagro values for community outreach and openness.

With regard to biosolids goals and objectives, the auditor also noted that “all 9 biosolids program objectives for 2015 were achieved or in progress. Objectives, targets and action plans are updated for 2016. The process is functioning effectively.”
