Illinois amendment introduced – EPA EXC QUALITY BIOSOLIDS

IL Sen. David Koehler introduced SB2757 to amend the IL Environmental Protection Act.  The short title “EPA-EXC QUALITY BIOSOLIDS” would amend the regulation to provide an exception to the Exceptional Quality biosolids regulation adding:

“. . . . (d) Nothing in this Act shall limit or supersede the authority of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency under the Nuclear Safety Law of 2004.”

On 16-MAR-2016 the IL Senate Committee Amendment No. 1 Assignments referred the legislation to Environment and Conservation.
