Renewable Fuel Standard

U.S. EPA released a regulatory announcement regarding adjustments to the amount of renewable fuels required under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) for 2014 to 2016.

The proposal calls for lower annual percentages of cellulosic biofuel, biomass-based diesel, advanced biofuel, and total renewable fuel applied to gasoline and diesel fuel produced or imported through 2016.

A public hearing is scheduled for 25-JUN-2015. Comments are due 27-JUL-15.
