$1.5 million grant program aimed at clean energy projects

MassDEP announces gap funding to implement shovel-ready clean energy projects aimed at reducing energy usage and costs.  Commissioner Kenneth Kimmel noted that the funding will “move innovative municipal energy-saving projects off the shelf and into actual implementation locally.”  Projects can include combined heat and power.  Applications will be accepted starting April 16, 2014.
