USDA’s NRCS Releases New Iowa Nutrient Management Conservation Practice Standard

USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) recently released the new Iowa Nutrient Management Conservation Practice Standard.  The standard is updated every 5 years to assist Iowa farmers in implementing nutrient management plans.

New to this update is the recognition of biosolids as valuable resource.  Biosolids are included in the standard as sources of plant nutrients.
