District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority Maintains Platinum Certification

Congratulations to the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority on successfully completing an interim audit to maintain Platinum Certification.  During this audit, DEKRA observed the following strengths:

• An excellent initiative is in place to consider wastewater and biosolids as resources as part of the agency’s resource recovery programs; and
• Seeing biosolids as a valuable product, rather than a byproduct, is leading to a more business-like approach to biosolids disposition.
